Hi to everyone, I am so happy to have been accepted into the CFAI family! My name is Lisa Marie Modell,I am an emerging artist and am represented by the Art on Mountain gallery, so far, here in Fort Collins. A divided land.At regular intervals I see conflicts flaring out in many parts of the world for pieces of land and the lands are drenched with the blood of innocent lives. That was the basis for this painting. Red denoting anger and hatred  against cold steel blue of calculative minds.

But nothing seems to convince those skeptical people! And for the right reason. Who decides what art  is?  The question is similar to ‘who am I’ etc!

 What really is art? Is it the ‘product’ that is sold? People seem to surmise that what is NOT sold may not be good art at all!
