This impressionistic landscape was inspired from a reference photo I took just up the road from my own home. I live in an area where there are fields of sunflowers, canola, wheat and corn all around me. In the summer and fall the landscapes turn a beautiful gold waiting to be harvested. Winnipeg, the major city that I live a short drive from, has a CFL football team and their team colours are blue & gold. Surely inspired by the same surrounding landscapes.
