This miniature painting is my impressionistic view of small town, rural prairie life still found throughout much of  Manitoba.  Old wooden grain elevators and tall church steeples rise proudly above the fields of canola and sunflowers.  Like guardians watching over the community they symbolize strength, security, prosperity, hope and comfort.
